The Max Bias is a new version of the Maximum Results. The Maximum Results was one of the last cores Mo Pinel designed, featuring one of the industry’s highest intermediate differentials. With the addition of the new HK22+ cover, Radical can move the breakpoint further down the lane, yielding a more dynamic down-lane motion. The Max Bias has Mo’s signature design written all over it. Lots of hook and lots of motion. With the Max Bias core numbers RG 2.494, a total Differential of 0.050, and a strong Intermediate Differential of 0.030 combined with the HK22+, you have the most hook potential from Radical in several years.

I drilled the Radical Max Bias 90 x 2.25" x 45 to give me a short pin layout, big ball, that would churn in the mid-lane and keep going to deliver predictable motion in the heaviest of oil. The Max Bias is a new version of the Maximum Results, featuring the new HK22+ Textured Hybrid cover, and a stout 0.030 int. diff, the Max Bias gives bowlers the strong ball they're looking for, with the predictability you've come to expect from Radical. I have used this ball on everything from Earl Anthony to Cheetah, and have been able to play inside and outside angles with great results. This ball picks up earlier than The Hitter, but is smoother with the same amount of overall hook. If you are looking for that big ball with pattern versatility, then the Max Bias is for you. Max Bias
The Max Bias was created to be the ascension of the Maximum Results. It is just that in my opinion. I have the Bias a few boards stonger than the Max Results. It has a strong cover that re Iquires oil to retain energy at the pins. If there is oil the ball has great continuation through the pins. The Max Results was one of my favorites when released and I believe the Max Bias will be a great replacement.
The Radical Max Bias will be that long oil, heavy volume ball in my bag. I anticipate using early this weekend bowling on the Billy Hardwick Pattern, 44' & 30 mls. I have only used it on a THS so far, but I like the shape it creates. Picks up early but is very continuous for a snow tire type ball. That is probably due to the addition of HK22 into the textured cover-stock formula. It also has a high asymmetry core that will add to the flare potential. If you are a speed dominant player or have low revs, this very well might be the everyday ball you need. I like what I see so far.
