At Creating the Difference, our goal is to grow the sport of bowling and educate bowlers. However, we don’t stop there. We want to help our people Create a Difference in their lives as well and grow into the best version of themselves. We do that a few different ways.
Positive Thinking
The first way is through positive daily posts on our Instagram and Facebook accounts. We believe that positive thinking is the first step in creating a difference in your life. It’s much easier to lead people and engage with people when you’re positive rather than negative. If you do a quick Google search of “Quotes by Industry Leaders”, you won’t find any negative things in the list. That’s because leaders look at things in a positive light. Positive thinking breeds positive thinking and is essential in growing a life worth living and a company worth having.
Life Blog
Another way we inspire people to create a difference is through our Life Blog. This blog steps out of the bowling realm and talks about things you can do in your everyday life to help make a change. This blog touches on everything from Money to Communication. Because the only way to inspire change in others is to lead by example. We understand that some people lack positive influences and role models. We hope to help be the leader who inspires these people to step out of their comfort zones so they are able to grow into a positive influence or role model for someone else.
Asking for Feedback
Some qualities of good leaders are to accept change and accept criticism. We give our staffers a voice. In our private Facebook group, we regularly ask for input on the things we are doing and the information we are providing. We want our staff to help us grow as well. We work diligently to ensure we are providing our staff with education that is useful. You can have all the knowledge in the world but if no one is interested in what you’re saying, it will fall on deaf ears. This is another way we lead by example. We hope by showing the staff that it is okay to ask for help; they might take this trait back to their own lives.

Summary
At Creating the Difference, we want to inspire people to become the best version of themselves. We do this through promoting a positive atmosphere for sharing and interacting. We have a code of conduct which must be signed by all staff members. We are strict in upholding this code of conduct because we want to maintain a positive atmosphere for growth.
When we founded the company, we established our core values. We keep these core values central in our interaction with not only our staffers; but also our customers. If you look over these core values, you’ll see they are many of the things mentioned in this blog. Above all, we want to help people GROW and inspire them to help GROW the sport we all love.
